While I love this threesome and the dynamics of their relationship, I think I am ready for a little one on one, so I’m super excited to jump into Ben’s story.

Hart’s writing, and aside from the too heavy discussion, too little dialog/story movement, it was very well written. Everything wraps up nicely though, and the guys all realize what’s important as their relationship is once again brought full circle. We get to see a little bit of Ben again, but I found his role in the final showdown a bit disbelieving. Unfortunately, here, there are three guys giving their thoughts, so it really drug out for me at times, and I found myself skimming for dialog among all of the rehashing.

It just felt a little too repetitive and pulled me away from the story. It was still great seeing them all again, but their issues seemed to surface and everything that we already know about them is discussed over and over again throughout this story. However, I was a little disappointed this time around. I loved the first book and seeing how these guys came together and what they went through. But, they start to apart a little more each time something arises, and there’s a lot of stuff that happens to cause them problems. These guys are really great together when everything is going ok.

Meanwhile, Josiah is holding the three together while he gets the new coffee shop restored and ready for business. It seems to be shoved in his face no matter how much he tries to leave it in the past. Tristan is still getting used to his feelings for Mateo and Josiah, while Mateo is having a rough time getting around the guilt over his past. They’re still adjusting to being together, though the main struggle now is with Tristan and Mateo since their involvement would cause problems for Tristan at work. Review: The guys are back again in this story. And when an old enemy returns and threatens the foundation of their new life, decisions will be made, and boundaries will be tested that could change their lives forever. To do that, Josiah, Mateo, and Tristan must learn to get over the pasts that have defined who they are. The only way to complete their full circle is for all their pieces, despite the curves and rough edges, to fit together perfectly. But what happens if the balance shifts? What happens when someone doesn’t play the right part? If one of them falters, they all feel the strain. To keep the balance intact, they all have their roles to play. Tristan must let go of his past, must learn how to need, and what it really means to take care of someone. Mateo wants to absolve himself of his sins. All he wants is to give his men what they need. They know what they want-each other-but with three people as broken as they are, all those pieces aren’t so easily mended. Blurb: Nothing in life is ever easy, and no one is more painfully aware of that than Josiah Evans, Mateo Sanchez, and Tristan Croft.
